Mimarl Suinan was a former servant of Mirka Fortuna, the prime minister of the empire, and a loyal friend of the family. He owned a small trading vessel.

His name was most likely a mistranslation of Mimar Sinan, a famous Turkish architect.
In the Chuang Yi translations of the manga, his name was romancitized to Mimal.
